Hooray! It's festival season! That means it's HOT HOT HOT for me, and not just in the literal sense...
Festival-goers in the Northeast can find me at two festivals in July, one in August, and one in September:
July 13, I'll be playing the 9PM slot on the River Stage at Black Potatoe Music Festival in Clinton, NJ.
July 29, I'll be swapping songs with my dear friends MILES & MAFALE to open for the great TOM RUSH at Huntington Folk Festival in Huntington, NY.
August 2-5, I'll be at my very favorite festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, where it will be my great honor and delirious pleasure to play as one of 24 acts selected for the Emerging Artist Showcase on Friday afternoon. My former band, Red Molly, "emerged" at this showcase 12 years ago, and now I get to do it again as a solo artist. This one brings ALL the feels for me. I'll also be playing a few informal sets around the campgrounds all weekend. Stay tuned...
September 8, I'll be at the CT Folk Festival & Green Expo in New Haven, CT, performing as one of five writers selected for the Grassy Hill Songwriting Competition!
And as if that weren't enough excitement for one summer, l'll be spending Labor Day weekend with my wonderful NO FUSS AND FEATHERS bandmates, playing shows in NY, NJ, and PA!
