New Year, New Adventures

Happy New Year, friends!

I can still say that, right? Even though the first month of 2019 is nearly half over? I sure hope so, because I'm just catching up and preparing for all sorts of new adventures this year!

Hope you're safe and warm and keeping loved ones close in these chilly and confusing times. I'm holding tight to my family and the music, cooking good food, practicing yoga, and writing new songs. Turning inward to gather energy to turn outward and do things like attend the Women's March next weekend...

Of course, I'll also be out and about playing songs -- both new and old -- pretty close to home during the coming weeks. Come by if you're in the neighborhood!  Here's where to find me:

Thursday, January 17:  The Living Room at 35 East, Ardmore PA

Thursday, January 24:  Mae Mae Cafe, New York NY (opening for MARK AARON JAMES)

Friday, February 1:  The Turning Point, Piermont NY (with JOE IADANZA)

Saturday, February 2:  Twelve Moons Coffeehouse, Salisbury CT

Saturday, February 9:  Hudson Valley Folk Guild Rock Tavern Chapter, Rock Tavern NY

Glad, also, to share with you that my 2018 record, SHIVER, continues to do well on the airwaves, thanks in no small part to my friends at Hudson Harding Music!  Honored that SHIVER was included in 2018 favorites lists by two veteran radio hosts -- Rich Warren of WFMT in Chicago IL and Ron Olesko of WFDU in Teaneck NJ -- not to mention New York City's favorite folk music tastemaker, Gordon Nash of Wise Madness

The nifty photo of me with JOE IADANZA at Burlap & Bean in Newtown Square PA comes courtesy of our friend Janice Brill. Thanks, Janice!

Until we meet again, friends, I wish you days filled with love, light, peace, and justice. May we learn to see only beauty in each other and embrace our shared humanity, flawed and battered though it may be...

Namaste,

Carolann
